The Nahuatl language musical theatre piece Xochicuicatl Cuecuechtli has been presented at the Hidalgo Theatre during the 1st edition of VolcanFest Colima 2016.
Cheered by the audience, the native autochthonous instrument orchestrated play made it’s first stage appearance of the year amidst the heat of Colima’s summer equinoxe barely at the feet of it’s lava gushing giant.
The team is currently preparing to visit the 2016 edition of Music Theatre Now in Rotterdam (The Netherlands) to introduce the work to the European audiences.
